Tisrya Pulao.
Ingredients
2 cups basamati rice
1 cup shell fish
1 onion chopped finely
1 tomato chopped finely
3 green chillies, grounded
4 kashmiri red chillies
3 bay leaves
3 cloves
1″ cinnamon
4 cardamos
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder 3 tbsp oil
Salt as per taste
Method:
- Wash and soak rice for 1/2 hour
- Heat oil in a pan
- Fry cloves, cardamomns, bay leaves, cinnamon and kashmiri chillies
- Add green chilli paste and stir for a minute
- Fry onions till golden brown
- Add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 2 minutes
- Add shell fish and fry for 5 minutes
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry for 10 minutes
- Add rice and and 2-1/2 cups of water and cover the pan
- Cook till rice is done
- Serve hot
